Exotic Turkey Burger

Ingredients: Servings Size 6

1 lb. Organic ground turkey meat, ½ fresh bunch of organic pre-washed spinach

½ bunch fresh scallions rinsed well, 2 peeled and mashed cloves of fresh garlic

½ cup chopped fresh cilantro, 1 tablespoon grated ginger, 1 tablespoon cumin powder, 1 tablespoon turmeric spice, sea salt and black pepper sprinkled lightly,

1 small jar diced pimentos, 1 whole organic egg, and ½ tsp. ground black pepper

2 tbsp. of olive oil, ½ of a lemon squeezed with pulp on spinach, and a 2” piece of ginger root.

 

Directions:

Place turkey meat in a large bowl, add spices and egg mix well. Add pimentos, scallions, garlic, grated ginger and cilantro then mix again. Let sit covered in fridge for 20 minutes to bind. Now make 6-5oz size patties and place each one between wax paper sheets to freeze for another day. Keep 2-5oz patties out and grill them to your taste. Sauté spinach with garlic in a non-stick pan sprayed w/Pam cooking spray for several minutes then add lemon and enjoy!
